Heart to Heart: Day to Day

Thriving with heart disease requires addressing the needs of the whole person. Medical interventions are one piece of the puzzle of complete care. Our lifestyle choices, diet, sleep and exercise habits also have an impact on our heart and our overall health. This year along with information on advances in medical care from top Cardiologists, “Heart to Heart” offers resources & ideas for “Day to Day” care that supports a healthful life with heart disease.

Children ages 7-17 will have a day of fun at UCLA Sunset Canyon Recreation Center with Camp del Corazon counselors, staff, and volunteers (while adults attend the symposium at Carnesale Commons). Activities include tumbling and acrobatics with “Yes! Circus” and high ropes with the UCLA Challenge Course team. Join up with your kids at noon at the Rec Center for a delicious Jersey Mike’s boxed lunch!

- Adults with CHD


- You do not have to be a Camp del Corazon camper to attend

- If you are considering your child attending CdC, we will have opportunities to learn more about the program.
